Reclamation of our Spirit - by First Nations Artists

The Smithers Art Gallery is proud to open the New Year with its January 2012 exhibition, "Reclamation of Our Spirit: the continuation of Northwest Coast Art in the 21st Century", which showcases the stunning artwork and talents of First Nations artists from the region. We believe that this is the first group show of First Nations art ever to be exhibited at the Smithers Art Gallery. On display is a beautiful range of both traditional and contemporary masks, carvings, and paintings.

Exhibition dates: January 10 – January 28, 2012

Opening reception: Friday January 13, from 7-9pm. All welcome - admission is free and the appetizers are delicious!
