Covid-19 Information

 
At the Smithers Art Gallery, we are committed to keeping a safe environment for our staff, volunteers, and patrons. As per Worksafe BC recommendations, we have set up the gallery space to ensure social distancing. We also provide a hand sanitization station in our entrance/exit. If you have not been fully vaccinated, please wear a mask as recommended in all indoor spaces as stated in the new province wide restrictions. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
We ask you to please save your visit for another time if you are experiencing the following symptoms, have travelled outside of Canada within the past 14 days, or have been in contact with someone with Covid-19. 
 
Symptoms Include: 
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Cough
  • Sore Throat & Painful Swallowing
  • Stuffy or Runny Nose 
  • Headache
  • Muscle Aches
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of Appetite and/or Smell

Are the bathrooms open to the public?
Yes, the key is available from Gallery staff. 
 
Can we bring in school groups during this time?
Yes, please call ahead to book a time.
 
Do I need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to enter the gallery? 
New province wide restrictions recommend wearing a mask if you are not fully vaccinated in all indoor spaces.
